Main Screen

This is the screen you see when you first open Schedule Shark. From here you can see all your scheduled reminders. You can sort them by Subject, date & time or the type of reminder you have set, just click on the header to sort.
The following buttons are:
1. Add new reminder - click this button to
set new reminders.
2. Show reminders - here you can edit,
delete or view details about the reminders you have set.
3. Options - you have a few options.
4. Close Program - this button actually
closes the program. clicking here will cancel all reminders from popping
up, it wont delete them, but the software wont run therefore the
reminders wont show up on your screen.
5. Hide - this button hides the software, it
minimizes it to your systems tray (icon will be on the bottom right hand
corner of your screen (next to your clock). to open it, just click on
the clock icon.
6. About - this button will pop up a window
with information on Shark Software and contact information

Show Reminders Screen

This screen allows you to see the actual details about the reminders you have set. Just click on the left window the reminder you want to see, and the details will appear at the top with the content appearing on the right, from here you can click on edit to change anything or update information, you can delete it or just click on OK when done. |
Add Reminder Screen

When you click on Add a reminder, this window pops up. Here you input the details about your reminder. You put a subject, set the date, time, occurrence and a brief message about your reminder. (tip: by clicking on the arrow on the date field, a calendar drops down so you can easily verify the date you need). You can then click on OK and the reminder has been set or you can click on Cancel and the reminder will not be saved. You are then taken back to the main screen. |
Pop-Up Reminder Screen

This is the actual window you will see when your reminder pops up. The subject is in bold red letters easily viewable. In the center you have the message you typed about the reminder. On the right of the window you have the time you set the reminder for easy reference, on the left you have the actual time so you can compare how much time has elapsed in case you werent in front of your computer when it popped up. You have a few options after the window pops up: 1. Click on OK to acknowledge you have seen the message. at this time the reminder will automatically be deleted if set to only once, otherwise it will reset itself for the next occurrence. 2. Click on snooze 5 min, which hides the window and pops up again in 5 min from the time you clicked on snooze. snooze 10 min. which pops back up in 10 min. or you can click on snooze longer which will pop up a small window asking you for the number in minutes to pop up again, you can put from 1-unlimited minutes. (if more than 240 (4hours) it is recommended to delete it and make a new one, or just edit the reminder. Snooze Screen |
